What’s your belief? In my book Titled “Motivated for Greatness”, I have a chapter that talks about Changing your mindset. I started to rationalizing about what do we believe in, and how it’s been impacting our world. People wonder why things happen in their lives, and think life just happens to them. We have to realize in life everything that happens to us is the direct result of our belief. I know you may think that people don’t want bad things to happen to them, but in reality we cause our own pain. I’m a true believer that the things that happen to me in my life was from my belief, whether it was good or bad.
I spent 5 years depressed for no reason, because things weren’t happening to me like I wanted them. I thought I didn’t deserve to have anything. My belief was life just happening to me and I had no control of it. So after I started to read the bible, going into prayer, and reading a lot self-help books, I started to realize that I did have control over my life. If kept seeing things in a negative light, the universe/GOD had no choice but to give me what I believe. I had this crazy notion that if I think negative, positive would happen. How crazy was that!!! I was getting everything I was thinking, and I didn’t even know it. I wanted things to happen in my life, but my self-doubt was preventing me for getting what I wanted. Once I start believing in myself, and seeing the damage I was causing myself, I notice things started to change. The key thing, you must stay consistence in your positive belief, because at any moment negativity will creep right in your mind.
